Book Mill

This group has met monthly at the library since 1999. Over the years, it has evolved into a thoughtful group with particular interest in reading about different cultures and creating reading lists that mix contemporary fiction, classics, and occasionally, non-fiction. Any reader who enjoys reading with a questioning mind, entertaining diverse perspectives, and sharing their thoughts is welcome to join us for one or many Book Mill meetings. To contact the group's facilitator, Wendy Valentine, e-mail mwvhome@verizon.net

Contemporary Conversations

Interested in discussing books with fellow readers but don't have a lot of time for it? Our new Contemporary Conversations group is online via Zoom, held every other month on a Wednesday night, features contemporary fiction and occasional other selections, and led by MPL Circulation Assistant Liz Leaver.

Attend whichever meetings interest you and work with your schedule. Gain new perspectives, share your enthusiasm or criticism, and have fun. Visit maynardpubliclibrary.org/contemp for details or email eleaver@minlib.net to register.
