Computers, Copying/Printing, & Faxing
Computers
There are 10 computers on the library's second level which provide access to the Internet and some commonly used programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The Children's Room has 4 computers. These computers are reserved for children and their families.
Wireless
Wireless access for your laptop computer or smartphone is available throughout the library. To connect to our wireless network, you will need any standard Network Interface Card installed on your laptop. You should be able to connect right away to "Maynard Public Library." No password required.
NEW! The library now offers wireless printing.
There are a few ways to send a document or photo to our printer.
If you are using a computer:

The easiest way is to go to this website and upload the documents to our printer and follow the onscreen instructions. Please note that you do not have to type in your library card where it states “User Name/Card Number.” You can type in your first name, your last name, or you can use a pseudonym. You cannot use spaces.

Copying/Printing
Copies of documents, texts, etc. can be made at the Reference Desk. The first five pages of black and white or color are free. Afterwards, the cost is $.10/page for Black and White pages and $.25/page for Color. Additionally, you will be able print pages from your computer terminal and have them sent to the Reference Desk printers. If you need assistance in copying or printing, a Reference librarian will be happy to help.
Faxing
The Reference Department offers fax service for $1 per page. This is a "send only" service. A librarian will assist you in sending your fax. The fax machine is located directly behind the Reference Desk on the second level. The library does provide cover sheets for faxing.
