It's hard to believe that our doors have been since mid-March. What started off as a 2 week closure has stretched into nearly a year and before you ask, we don't know when we will be able to reopen to the public at this time. When it's safe to do so, we're excited to have the public back in and using our great library.
Since July, library staff have been hard at work to provide a robust curbside pickup service as well as curbside printing. Our Outdoor Browsers' Markets on Wednesdays and the occasional Saturday have been so amazing. It's been fantastic seeing and interacting with you all in-person again. We've been bringing you as many virtual events as we can get with speakers, concerts, book groups, storytimes, and technology workshops. New services like homebound delivery, movie and book bundles, and wifi hotspots are on the way too.
We're going to try something different here with a blog. Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are great tools that we use for letting you know about upcoming programs and services, but the goal with this blog is to point out some different and interesting things that simply wouldn't fit into 280 or so characters.
Feel free to comment and let us know if there's anything you'd like to see happen in this space as we move forward.
