Library Services During COVID-19 Closure
The Maynard Public Library will be closed until further notice. We deeply regret this action, but feel it is necessary in the face of our national health emergency. Please check back for updates.
All holds for items at other Minuteman Libraries are currently frozen.
The book drop will be open weekdays from 9-5 for the return of material from all Minuteman Libraries. Please see the home page for more details.
The Maynard Public Library Curbside Delivery Program Effective June 3, 2020
We are delighted to enact a safe contactless curbside program service at this time. First a few things to remember: the only library items available currently are those physically in the Maynard Public Library. There is no network delivery. So if we don’t actually have the item you want in Maynard, we can’t get it for you. At this time no patrons are allowed in the library building.
No fines will be charged on days that the library is closed. All items have been renewed through June 30.
Staff are not available to answer phone calls at this time, but you can e-mail for support by filling out the form below.
Also please note that, because of safety issues, the Friends may not accept books at this time.

Freegal Music *Freegal offers a variety of music for recordings available from Sony Music Entertainment labels, including Artista, Columbia, RCA and more. Maynard residents can download and keep up to 3 songs per week. The downloads are all in MP3 format with no DRM. This service will work with any MP3 player, including iPod, and can be loaded into iTunes. It works on both PCs and Macs.
General OneFileGeneral OneFile is a source for news and periodical articles, including most of the content across all Thomson/Gale databases. OneFile contains full-text periodical titles, and more than 9,200 titles in all, on a wide range of topics.

Stay Home YouTube channel: Videos covering a wide range of content, designed for homebound viewers. Topics include cooking, crafts, fitness, meditation and gardening.
TED Talks: Over 3300 videos of talks on a variety of topics. "TED is a nonpartisan nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 110 languages." 305 Fitness Shake off your social-distancing stress with 305 Fitness. The dance-cardio studio is now offering free live-stream workouts on its YouTube channel every day at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. EST.
